2014 was a great year for Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. We had some momentous occasions, new menu items launch and lots of wonderful fans say some wonderful things about us.
With 2014 officially in our rearview mirror, let’s take some time to remember the Fuzzy’s highlights of the past 12 months.
Our fans say what?
We love our guests. They make the world go around, truly. And 2014 produced some wonderful comments and posts from our fans on of social media. You made us blush:

Halloween pet contest winners
We tasked our guests to dress up their dogs on Halloween to try and win a $25 gift card, and, boy, did they respond. From a Superman bulldog to a canine pirate, our fans sent in some pretty elaborate pet costumes for our judges to LOL about. We’ll never underestimate our fans—or their pets—ever again.
The fight for a taco emoji
Emojis are just a way of life in the text-messaging realm nowadays, and Fuzzy’s has taken notice. It didn’t take us long to observe that there are no tacos in the emoji lexicon. We let our thoughts on the subject be known and joined the global fight for justice by way of a taco emoji.
Pancake Taco
We know our guests love our breakfast tacos, but instead of getting complacent, we decided to change the game. In 2014, we introduced the Pancake Taco for a limited time. Fuzzy’s guests haven’t stopped lobbying for a comeback since.
National Taco Day
On Thursday, October 2, aka National Taco Day, Fuzzy’s gave its fans a treat, offering $1 tacos all day. Our guests swarmed like bees on honey, dying to get a piece of this awesome deal. We wish every day was National Taco Day, but, alas, weekly visits will have to do.
BLT&A
Deemed a “delicious twist on an old favorite,” our limited-time-only BLT&A, or bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado, took the nation by storm, becoming the most craved menu item in the Western Hemisphere. Or close to it. Fingers crossed for a reappearance in 2015.
People were talking about us
Okay, we don’t want to sound like the kind of establishment that brags, but people were kind of paying attention to us this year. Not only did we get praise for the way we do things, we also nabbed mentions here, here, here and here.
