Best Fuzzy’s Food to Eat After a Night of Drinking

Oops! You’ve done it again…

You said last time was the last time, but now this is the last time (until next time). You went out with friends, had a great time, but now you’re not feeling 100 percent. Don’t worry; Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has your back. We know how you feel.

And while we’re all for moral support, we’re actually here for you in a much more tangible way. Because Fuzzy’s has plenty of the right medicine to get you back in the saddle in no time. Here’s what you need:

Eggs

Our breakfast tacos are more than just a tasty breakfast menu item. They’re chock full of cysteine, which contains glutathione, a chemical already produced by your body to ward off the toxic substances you consumed the night before. Basically, eggs help clean up your system.

Tomatoes

No, not for bloody Marys, but good try. Tomatoes contain lycopene, which serves as an antioxidant that reduces inflammation in your body. They also contain vitamin C and fructose, which will shock your liver back into gear. Lucky for you, tomatoes come with basically everything on our menu! Hooray! (Sorry, not trying to shout. We know you have a headache.)

Beans

Beans can be a lifesaver. Not only are they delicious, nestled up to your food on any Fuzzy’s plate, but they’re also a great source of folic acid, fiber and protein, all which help combat your morning-after blues.

Duh, water!

It goes without saying that you should be chugging water. Get yourself a Fuzzy’s cup and refill that bad boy until you can’t take any more. Alcohol is a diuretic, meaning it dehydrates you. That horrible feeling in your head is actually a reaction to being extremely dehydrated. It only makes sense to inject yourself with as much of this elixir of life as you can.

It’s probably important to point out that despite popular belief, the hair of the dog is not really a smart idea. Although we love when you enjoy one of our margaritas or cold beers in the AM, it won’t do you any favors in the long run if you’re battling a hangover.

Now if you’re really thinking ahead, you’ll start your night of drinking at your local Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. A big, carb-filled meal, aka tacos, jumbo burritos or enchiladas, is the perfect way to load up for the night. It’s important to line your stomach so that whatever you drink has a good foundation to rest upon. Makes sense, doesn’t it?

Have fun tonight! We’ll see you on the other side.
