At Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, the side of us you generally see is the fun, happy-go-lucky, quirky side. That’s the side we outwardly portray because, well, that’s who we are.
But we do have a serious side, and it’s that side we’d like to present in our message today.
We love feeding people. It’s at the core of what we do. But, unfortunately, we can’t feed everyone, even those who are in need of a good, wholesome meal. Even children in need.
Did you know one in five children struggle with hunger? It’s what’s called an “access issue,” meaning many children simply don’t have access to the food they need. This is dumbfounding, as $1 can feed a child 10 meals. Thank goodness there are people out there who are just as dumbfounded by this as we are and who are facilitating a movement for change.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, along with thousands of other restaurants across the country, will be tackling child hunger head on this September through the Dine Out for No Kid Hungry™ initiative. Here’s the deal:
- All Fuzzy’s Taco Shop locations will donate $0.25 from each souvenir cup sold during the month of September. Not to mention all you Fuzzy’s cup collectors will get an awesome orange cup to add to your collection.
- Guests can also donate 25 of their loyalty app reward points (or more) to No Kid Hungry™ through a redemption button in their app. For every 25 points donated, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will donate $1 to the campaign.
When you choose Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in September, either by dining with us or donating, you are personally helping put an end to childhood hunger in America. Not only are you enjoying some delectable Fuzzy’s tacos, you’re saving the world. Talk about a win-win!
