Some of the greatest things in the world only come around so often (Christmas, Halley’s Comet, the neighborhood ice cream truck). Maybe that’s part of the appeal: the fleetingness of it all.
While the majority of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop menu items are available year-round, there are a select few that also only come around every so often. One of these limited-time offers is the Firecracker Fajita.
You’re probably wondering a few things: “Is there gunpowder in it?” “Are there actually firecrackers in it?” “Is it approved by the FDA?” “Does it come with a lighter or will I need to buy one at a gas station?”
All good questions, but the answer is “no” to all of the above. It’s way better than that.
These fajitas feature spicy Sriracha-infused fajita meat and house-battered fried onion strings, topped with a Sriracha-lime drizzle. It’s served with grilled bell peppers, warm flour tortillas, grilled lime wedge, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and your choice of two sides.
The name makes sense now, doesn’t it?
It’s not every day we get the chance to try something this awesome. In fact, feel free to read the ingredients again. We’ll wait…
Yep, even better the second time, right?
It was only a matter of time before Fuzzy’s incorporated Sriracha into its list of ingredients. It’s a condiment favorite in and out of Asian restaurants. And being that we live in a democracy, the people have spoken and we were quick to deliver. It just seemed like the right thing to do at the right time, and it offers our guests yet another reason to love our food.
So there you have it, folks. The Firecracker Fajita is here, but for a limited time only (45 days, to be exact). Don’t be the person who misses the train and has to listen to everyone fuss about it the rest of the year. Get in, get yourself some and get happy. See you soon!
