At Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, we’re in the business of feeding people. We do it because we love sharing our tacos (and more) with the fine folks who come in day in and day out.
But, unfortunately, there are those who we don’t see every day who need a good meal as much as the rest of us. What’s heartbreaking is that some of them happen to be children.
Did you know that one in five children in America lives in a household without consistent access to adequate food? This alarming number is even more distressing when you consider that $1 can connect children to 10 meals.
Enter our partner: No Kid Hungry.
The awesome team at No Kid Hungry is committed to supporting this cause, and during the month of September, our Fuzzy’s team/guests can get in on the act. As a No Kid Hungry donor, you help launch school breakfast programs, recruit summer meals sites and empower families to shop for and prepare healthy meals. It also provides grants to the most effective hunger-fighting organizations across the country to help them end child hunger in their communities.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, along with thousands of other restaurants across the country, will be tackling child hunger this September. Here’s what you need to know:
- All Fuzzy’s Taco Shop locations will donate $0.25 from each souvenir cup sold during the month of September.
- Guests can also donate 25 of their loyalty app reward points (or more) to No Kid Hungry through a redemption button in their app. For every 25 points donated, we’ll donate $1 to the campaign.
When you choose Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in September, either by dining with us or donating, you are personally helping in the fight against child hunger. So as you enjoy your tacos, quesadillas, burritos and whatever else brings you through our doors, just know we have a partnership in place that allows you to share the wealth.
Although we’d love for you to support No Kid Hungry through Fuzzy’s, be sure to check out all the participating restaurant partners so as many of your meals this September as possible benefit the cause.
