St. Patrick’s Day means different things to different people. For some, it’s a holiday to commemorate St. Patrick and the good he did in the world. For others, it’s a day to drink green beer and get a little rambunctious. Wherever you land on this spectrum, the tradition is to wear green regardless.
We love tradition at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and will be celebrating in our own way this St. Paddy’s Day. Not only will we be wearing green, we’ll be eating green. And we don’t mean “green” in the healthy sense; we mean the actual color green. Here are our suggestions for how you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at your local Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.
Eat all of our green menu items
Cilantro, jalapenos, salads, the lettuce on your tacos, guacamole—need we say more? People will walk by your table and think, “Now that guy’s taking today seriously!”
Bonus points if you can work every green menu item into your order!
Wear green, too
If you’re going to be ordering green, you might as well go green. Green shorts, green shirt, green socks, green shoes, maybe even listen to Green Day on the way over to Fuzzy’s? The tradition is to pinch someone who doesn’t embrace this tradition on St. Patrick’s Day. Avoid that fate and be the greenest guest in the joint.
Enjoy the fun atmosphere
One of the things we pride ourselves on is our lively environment. Even on a regular, non-holiday weekday, it can get pretty rowdy with people laughing, cheers’ing and ordering another round. It’s like we were built for St. Patrick’s Day.
You might find a leprechaun
Okay, so they say leprechauns don’t exist, but they also said the world was flat and that MySpace was the best thing to ever hit the Internet. We’d imagine if these little guys do exist, they would definitely appreciate a cool St. Patrick’s Day party at a local Mexican joint where everyone is eating green, wearing green and thinking green.
Partake in the green margaritas/beer
Did we say “eating green” and “wearing green”? Oh, we also meant “drinking green”! Though this won’t be an option at all Fuzzy’s Tacos Shops, there’s still regular beer and (greenish) margaritas to hold you over.
Hey, we might serve Mexican food, but the Irish (and Irish at heart) are always welcome. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
