We’re dog people at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. Not like half dog, half humans, but as in we like dogs.
We like them so much that many of our Fuzzy’s locations are legitimately dog-friendly. That’s right. We’re canine-compatible. We’re mutt maniacs. We’re hound happy. And we’re even puppy proud.
Not that we play favorites. But there have been some patio dogs that have caught our eye in the past year or so. Without further ado, we pay tribute to these taco-loving pooches.
Anna: The Good Girl
She diligently stands at attention as you scarf down on your quesadillas. She’s smart, having learned that obedience = table scraps. This “good girl” won our hearts all the way from our Stillwater, Okla., location. We’re hoping Anna was generously rewarded for striking such a classically adorable canine pose.
River: The Good Boy
Much like Anna, River knows his tableside manners and is keen on using them. Also a Stillwater rsident, River seems to enjoy spending meal time with his owner al fresco. We’re still waiting to hear what his favorite taco is.
Liko: The Lei’d-Back Frenchie
Liko is about as chill as it gets. He’s a self-aware pooch and knows he’s got a pretty fantastic life. Anytime he can be the talk of the patio, he’s up for it. Seriously, just look at that outfit. That’s a dog that knows how to wine, dine and recline. (Disclaimer: This dog didn’t actually drink any wine.)
Georgie: The Queso-Lickin’ Yorkiepoo
Whenever one of our human friends gets caught stealing our queso, it usually doesn’t go over well. But when Georgie gets caught, he’s just too adorable to stay mad at. It would have been really impressive if he’d incorporated a tortilla chip into the equation, but Georgie still has time to figure that part out.
Toby: The Beggar
Toby’s a dog that knows what he wants. Unfortunately, it’s also what his owner wants, and he ain’t gettin’ none of it. But Toby can dream, can’t he? As his owner enjoys his tasty concoction, Toby sits and waits patiently, ignoring his perfectly good bowl of water laid out for him by one of our Fuzzy’s team members.
Hobbes: The “Didn’t See That Coming” Mini Pig
He may not be a dog, but it’s a mini pig in a pirate cut-off sweater (bet you’ve never read a sentence like that before!). Hobbes loves to pig out, especially on Fuzzy’s tacos. We assume he stole this taco from a neighboring table, as he’s a pirate pig, and that’s what pirate pigs do. They plunder and pig out. This pig is so cool…
Make sure to call your Fuzzy’s Taco Shop ahead of time to make sure the patio is prepared for your pooch. If so, pack up your pup and head to the happiest place on Earth (i.e., a taco shop that allows dogs). Dare we say, heaven?
