For millions of Americans, the countdown to college is on. For some, this might bring on bouts of sadness, but for those lucky enough to have Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in their college towns, they’re salivating just thinking about it.
Before you get ahead of yourself, you need to ease back into getting your Fuzzy’s fix on the regular. There are sequential steps to go through, and we’ve taken it upon ourselves to outline them for you so you know when they hit:
Stage I: Withdrawal
If you haven’t had a Fuzzy’s nearby during summer break, you’re likely going through withdrawal. The only antidote, short of road-tripping to a city with a Fuzzy’s, is to head to our online store and purchase some Fuzzy’s Butt Burnin’ Sauce or Fuzzy Dust. That’s your only prescription to get through the hard times.
Stage II: Anticipation
Soon this negative feeling turns into a positive one, as you begin to see the light at the end of the taco-less tunnel. You count down the days until you return to your college Fuzzy’s, imagining the memories you’ll make, the beers you’ll drink (if of age, of course), the first dates you’ll have there, the second date you might not have there…
You can practically feel Fuzzy’s Butt Burnin’ Sauce pulsing through your veins in anticipation, and you almost can’t take it anymore.
Stage III: Reunited
As soon as your feet hit the ground in your college town, you have one mission: Get to Fuzzy’s ASAP. Your new college textbooks (eBooks?) can wait, as can meeting your new roommate. You get to Fuzzy’s, and it’s like everything is right in the world.
Stage IV: First Taste
You wait in line, no matter how long the wait, to get a taste of your favorite Fuzzy’s tacos. “Do you need a menu?” the woman in line in front of you asks. “Naw, I’m good,” you say casually, as if you don’t have every word of the menu committed to memory.
You get your order, and time stands still as you bite into your taco. Happiness radiates from your mouth to the rest of your body.
Stage V: Reunion
Once you’ve had your alone time, it dawns on you that one of the best parts of Fuzzy’s (besides everything on the menu, natch) is having your friends there to enjoy it. You call up the gang and tell them to get there pronto. You make sure they’ve all had the chance to have their own Stage IV experience, before catching up from the summer.
Stage VI: Peace
Finally, as you leave Fuzzy’s, you look back and feel a sense of calm, knowing that Fuzzy’s will always be there for you when you come back.
Hurry! We can’t wait to see you!
