Hey, bacon! What’s shakin’? Mmm, mmm, mmm! What a glorious day tomorrow shall be!
That’s right, it’s International Bacon Day the Saturday before Labor Day, and no one is celebrating harder than Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. We’re bacon’s biggest cheerleader! And if you choose Fuzzy’s Taco Shop to celebrate IBD, you’ll be the one reaping the benefits. Look-see:
Have bacon for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Hop out of bed, ignore those dirty dishes and get your butt to Fuzzy’s. Load up on breakfast tacos stuffed with bacon. Then find yourself back here for lunch and dinner, possibly chowing down on the California Heat taco, a soft or crispy tortilla loaded with grilled or tempura shrimp, bacon, fresh avocado, feta, shredded cheese, pico de gallo and topped with our addictive sriracha-lime sauce.
If for some reason that doesn’t sound appealing, just order anything on the menu and ask for bacon on it. No, seriously. Anything. Breakfast nachos. Jumbo burrito. Large salad. Enchiladas. What can bacon not enhance?
And drink some bacon
Why stop with food? Cover your bases with some bacon-infused vodka.
“But what do I drink it with?” you ask.
With anything! (If you haven’t figured that out yet then we have some serious work to do.)
Get your vegetarian friends on the bacon train
Take a moment to consider the less fortunate in your life, those who’ve made the choice not to eat bacon (or any other meat for that matter). The least you can do is get them to nosh on some veggie bacon in honor of International Bacon Day. Help them help themselves…to some bacon.

Have a bacon cook-off
Organize your friends into teams and have them prepare a bacon-themed dish. Not only is this exercise a good bonding experience, but you’ll also have plenty of bacon creations to consume, no matter who wins or loses.
And bacon for dessert
You just ate bacon all day; you might as well end the day with bacon, too. Try some candied bacon, chocolate bacon, bacon brittle, bacon toffee, bacon cake or even some bacon chocolate chip cookies. These are all real things that exist in the world. What better day to introduce them to your world than today?
We know it’s a lotta bacon to take-in. So come rake in some bacon, or you’ll find yourself achin’.
