Wake Up With Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

November 11, 2014 by Dani Goodman

Fuzzys Taco Shop

For most people, every morning has somewhat of a ritual. The alarm goes off, you kind of wake up, hit the snooze button, second alarm goes off, wake up, stretch, blindly make coffee, shower (hopefully), put clothes on (hopefully) and if there’s time, eat breakfast.

Now you’ve probably heard this before, but breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and, counter intuitively, it’s the meal most often skipped. (Don’t feel guilty; we’ve all done it, friend.) But what better time than now to make some changes to your AM regimen?

We have a wide array of breakfast items available at all our Fuzzy’s Taco Shop locations, including breakfast burritos, breakfast tacos, huevos rancheros, breakfast sandwiches, migas and chilaquiles. By the way, if you don’t know what chilaquiles are, we’re here to educate you, as they will seriously change your life. They’re two scrambled eggs, shredded chicken or beef, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo topped with tortilla strips. No, you’re not dreaming, and yes, you can have some.

Not that we’re playing favorites; any one of these menu items is a hearty morning companion. The Calvin to your Hobbes, if you will.

And not only is Fuzzy’s Taco Shop bringing tasty back, our food is packed with protein to get your day started right. What are some other breakfast staple foods? Bagels, cereal, donuts and pastries, right? Let’s break this down real quick:

Pastries: High sugar content, high in carbs making you feel hungrier sooner, high fat, high calorie count, contains white flour instead of whole grains.

Donuts: Deep-fried, full of sugar, can contain trans fat, little nutritional value, also made with white flour instead of whole grains.

Cereal: Loaded with GMOs, many coated with sugar, often with little nutritional value.

Bagels: Made with refined wheat flour, low in fiber and nutrients, very high in calories (equivalent to four to five slices of white bread).

The verdict? Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is a better way to start your day. May we rest our case?

And if you’re a forward thinker, our menu isn’t meal exclusive. You can get anything from the entire menu in the morning, if you’re into that. Breakfast for dinner? Been there done that. How about lunch for breakfast? In!

We know, crazy talk, right? But you’re an adult, aren’t you? Order what you want, when you want. We’ll see you in the morning!
